PDF Rows.
Turn a bank statement PDF into a clean CSV, entirely in your browser.

What it is
PDF Rows turns a bank statement PDF into a clean, dated spreadsheet. Drag the file onto the page and it reads the transaction rows out right there in your browser tab — no upload, no account, no file storage anywhere. You can see and download the first page of results for free; $29 unlocks the full statement as a CSV, no matter how many pages it runs.
Who it's for
Solo bookkeepers and small-business owners who currently retype bank statements by hand, or pay a monthly subscription for a converter that caps how many pages you can run.
Why I built it
People doing their own books keep asking the same question in bookkeeping forums: how do you get transactions out of a PDF statement without retyping them or handing a client's bank records to some website. The common answer is "paste it into ChatGPT," which for a bookkeeper means uploading someone else's financial records to a third party. The paid tools that exist charge a recurring fee and cap the page count. I wanted a one-time price, no page limit, and an honest answer to the privacy question — the file never leaves your machine.
How it works
Everything runs client-side using pdf.js, the open-source library that reads PDFs directly in the browser, so your statement is parsed in memory in your own tab and never sent anywhere. The parser turns the PDF's positioned text into dated rows with amounts, and you can try it first on a sample statement before trusting it with your own. Buying unlocks the full CSV export; the license key that unlocks it is checked against Polar, the payment processor, but that check is written to fail open, so a slow connection or a busy server never blocks a feature you've already paid for.
What's next
It's live, the conversion has been checked against real statements, and the checkout works. I haven't posted about it publicly yet — the marketing channel is Reddit, and the honest next step is building some real posting history there before the first disclosed mention, rather than a brand-new account showing up and immediately dropping a link.
