PRIVACY

Short version: I collect only what you tell me in the intake, I store it privately, I use it only to write for you, and I never sell or share it. Ask anytime and I'll delete it. No tracking pixels, no ad networks, no nonsense.
What I collect
Just what you type or speak into the intake: your answers about your voice and your project, and the contact details you provide (name, email, company, links). If you email me, I keep that email. That's it — there are no third-party advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
How it's stored
While you're filling out the intake, your answers live only in your own browser until you hit submit. When you submit, they're sent over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to my server and saved in a private database (Supabase). Only I can read them, through a password-protected admin — the database keys never reach anyone's browser.
About the microphone & voice transcription
Speaking is optional. If you do use the mic, your browser's built-in speech recognition turns your speech into text. Be aware that in some browsers (for example Chrome) that means the audio is sent to the browser maker's speech service to be transcribed — that step is handled by your browser, not by me. I only ever receive the final text, never an audio recording. If you'd rather keep audio entirely off the wire, just type your answers instead.
How I use it
Only to understand your voice, scope your project, and reply to you. I don't sell it, rent it, share it, or add you to any marketing list. No automated decisions, no profiling beyond reading what you wrote.
How long I keep it & your choices
I keep your intake while we're talking or working together, and tidy up afterward. You're in control: email mike@gearyworks.com anytime to see what I have or to have it permanently deleted, and I'll take care of it promptly. You can also clear your in-progress answers from your own browser at any time before submitting.
